We do not have lengthy waiting lists.

Appointment's are by self referral therefore you can book any available scan time.

You will be emailed a report within 48hrs of your appointment which can be taken to discuss with your GP or suitably qualified medical professional. 

Yes! 

All staff performing scans at Northern Sonography Ltd are medical qualified sonographers who hold a degree in Radiography and a post graduate diploma in medical ultrasound. 

You can be safe in the knowledge that our sonographers are highly experienced in medical ultrasound. 

The Sonographer will not discuss the results of your scan with you. The scan will be used to collect information which will be put in a report which, you will receive by email within 48 hours of your appointment.

We do not offer a consultation service and it is your responsibility to take action on any anomalies highlighted in your report with your General Practitioner or a suitably qualified medical professional.

This is detailed in our Terms of Service supply which should be read and understood prior to booking a scan.

 Depending on the scan you book different preparation may be required. You may be asked to fast or attend with a full bladder. This information will be provided via email before your appointment.

Yes.

We have trained chaperone's available if you require one please indicate this when booking your scan. If have not advised us of this and then attend you may still request a trained chaperone but on occasion we may need to rebook your scan to facilitate this.

We are always happy to receive feedback both positive or negative, this helps keep our service the best it can possibly be! Feedback can be provided at the clinic during your appointment, by phone, by email to mburton@northernsonography.co.uk or in writing to our clinic.

All feedback is reviewed by a director and we aim to respond within 72hrs.
